Seskinore and Mullaghmore
Four Centuries of Land, Family, and Legacy in County Tyrone
From the Plantation of Ulster to the twentieth century, this site traces the history of the Seskinore and Mullaghmore estates through the lives, inheritances, and connections of the Perry, McClintock, Eccles, and Joynson–Wreford families.
THE ESTATE
The estate was established in the seventeenth century by the Perry family at Mullaghmore, later known as Perrymount.
Through the marriage of Mary Perry to Alexander McClintock in 1781, the estate passed into the McClintock family, who developed Seskinore as their principal residence.
Over time, the estate evolved through inheritance, marriage, and legal transition.
